Notice of Audit of the 2024 General Election – Pursuant to KSA 25-3009 notice is hereby given that the Audit of the November 5th General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 12th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Shawnee County Election Office, 3420 SW Van Buren St. in Topeka. This will be a manual audit or tally of each vote cast, regardless of the method of voting, in 1% of all precincts, with a minimum of three precincts located within the county. The precincts shall be randomly selected and the selection shall take place after the election. The audit shall be performed by a sworn election board consisting of bipartisan trained board members. The county election officer shall determine the members of the sworn election board who will conduct the audit.

Notice of County Canvass Date - Pursuant to K.S.A. 25-3104 and K.S.A. 25-3105, notice is hereby given that the official canvass of the November 5th General Election for Shawnee County will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18th at the Shawnee County Election Office, 3420 SW Van Buren St. in Topeka.
